These are the roughs for the final piece. The project here was to create comic book layouts/artwork for t-shirts. I came up with this concept and started working on it. Moving from left to right:(1)I drew the rough layout, then (2)drew the final pencil. Next (3)I inked the final pencil, then (4)digitally retraced that inking in Illustrator. From there I added all of the color. My friend Juan Ortiz was in charge of the typography for this project. He created the “Stitch Tales” headline, and followed the copy I wrote for the other text captions.
